Every year, granduncle would celebrate his birthday with a lavish dinner. This year, we were invited to Overseas Restaurant at Amcorp Mall, it was our first time there. There was a wedding function there that night so food took a while to arrive...
We started off with the four seasons platter.
And proceeded to the sharks fin soup.
The braised duck with plenty of herbal goodness.
This was awesome, my favourite, cod fish cooked in 2 styles - steamed and fried. Both were equally good!
The crispy pei pa chicken was also crunchy good.
Mixed vegetables was a light dish tossed with lots of pine nuts....lovely.
The longevity noodles was a firm favourite with me, I like the texture mingling with the taste of the salty stir fried meat and beansprouts.
Lotus buns with sweet lotus paste within.
Sweet sesame soup.....much too thick and savoury for me after the huge meal.Restoran Overseas (Amcorp Mall)
