Eating in

It's always good to cook and eat at home, we get to experiment with ingredients, and since we are both voracious eaters, we usually end up cooking big portions so nobody goes hungry. Here are some of the "casualties" from our kitchen.

Our version of pai kwat wong (sweet & sour pork ribs). Love the sauce!

Fried chicken wings.
Fried siakap fish head with generous toppings of garlic, onions and ginger in oyster sauce.
Fried siakap fish tail topped with lime juice, cili padi, onions, garlic, ginger, bunga kantan & cincalok.......tangy and superb!
Steamed tofu.
Fried tofu with quails eggs, topped with a hoisin sauce, garlic and onions concoction.

Steamed chicken & salted duck eggs.

Super spicy prawn tom yam.

Delicious and tasty roast pork soup, courtesy of mom (in law).

Our own red radish and lotus root soup.

Hubby's tom yam fried rice teeming with prawns and ikan bilis!

Kiam chai boey made from leftover pork leg.

Cincalok assam petai....my current favourite dish.

Stir fried sweet peas with kailan stem.

Stir fried batavia.

Golden pumpkin stir fried with dried shrimps.

Stir fried bayam.

French beans with cured lobak and dried shrimps.

Stir fried kailan stem and siew pak choy.

Steamed ladies fingers.
