Restoran Kong Sai, Paramount Garden, Petaling Jaya

It was the eve of their departure to the US, when we went out for dinner with GrandUncle and his family at Restoran Kong Sai. One month without Malaysian food, better eat well before leaving! I like their leong sui in a tall glass. They got the sweetness and concentration just right.

We ordered the silky pak cham kai chicken which was apparently a house specialty.

We also tried the pork curry, which was very thick and creamy with santan. Very rich!

Washed all that richness down with soothing watercress soup.

Mustn't forget the greens, garlic stir fried batavia.
Meat balls with chives soup, which tasted kinda "green", I found it weird.

The piece de resistance was the deep fried fish head topped with lots of deep fried ginger shreds and garlic. Very good, this!

The meal for 6 came up to RM98.00, which was slightly on the pricey side.
