Somewhere In Time

One of the great romance classics from when I was growing up, Somewhere In Time, has a theme of love that transcends all time and space....a metaphysical romance, if you may. Some don't believe in love that lasts forever, even beyond death. I, however, can't imagine that it does not. I grew up loving this movie, its theme, its beautifully sad soundtrack by John Barry, its "Come back to me" moments...
Love, forever, with a sigh, is what it is...
For a quick view of the movie's prime scenes and soundtrack : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4N1mxN5JbU&feature=related
There are 2 versions of lyrics to the music written by John Barry. I don't know which one is the correct one, but they are both sentimental to a fault...
VERSION # 1
Somewhere in time
We met on timeless hills
And in the evening mist we kissed
And time stood still
Before the dawn, we found forever
Moments are timeless when I feel your caress

You'll always be inside of me
And I know when love is true
It's always with you

Somewhere in time
I came to realize
Love never goes
Love never goes
Once it has touched your heart
Just like the strength of wine that's left
As two lips part
A taste of love will linger after
I know the meaning of all that I see
You'll always be inside of me
And I know when love is true
It's always with you

Somewhere in time
I came to realize
Love never goes...

VERSION # 2
Somewhere in time,
We’ll share one love, one life,
And with each gentle touch,
I know this much, is true.
And when we kiss,
I see forever, and in your arms, I’m lost,
You find me again.
No words, no rhymes,
Describe this pain inside,
No matter how hard I tried,
I die inside, to let you go.
To say goodbye my heart breaks forever,
Somewhere in time,
I know we’ll meet again.
You're in my heart, you’re in my soul,
And if you go away from me,
I can’t let go.
Until the end,
I know we’ll meet again,
Somewhere in time...
