Hawker food near FGA Church, Off Jalan Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur

At night, near the FGA Church, there is a thriving row of hawker stalls doing brisk business with customers dining al fresco and on the five-foot-way of shophouses.

We decided to check out the strip, and hubby decided on the Cao Cao BBQ lamb (RM7.00). I tried it, and it was way too fatty and "smelly" for my taste.

I had the wantan mee (RM4.00), and it was ok, lardy-tasting sauce, springy noodles.

The wantan.
Hubby also had the prawn noodles (RM5.00) for which this place is famous. He rather enjoyed it.
We shared a leng chee kang (RM1.50) which was basically tinned longans mixed with boiled dried longan water (air mata kucing). Nothing to shout about here.

I would rate this place as a decent hawker area to have a quick bite. 3 bams.
