We had a quick dinner here the other day, this restaurant near Petaling Street is apparently famous for its claypot loh shee fun. It had quite a few foreigners dining there.
I ordered the pork ribs noodles, which was kinda big for a single serving. The pork ribs were braised, rather than fried. (I had thought that it would be fried, when ordering). The noodles was ok, though I must say the ribs were a tad porky for my liking.
Mom and hubby shared a claypot of loh shee fun for two. It came teeming with minced pork and an uncooked egg at the top, which they then mixed in to cook in the heat within the claypot.
This was my favourite dish, caramelised siew yoke fried with soy sauce and crispy garlic pieces. Yummmm! Sweet and saltish, this was a clear winner.
The meal totalled to RM34.00 for the 3 of us, which was pretty reasonable for the large portions served.
